Welcome to the country of Afspamistan. You have received your first piece of spam. I get 30 or 40 penis enlargement spams a day along with offers for fake watches, loans at incredible interest rates, breast enlargements and offers for porn. It totals about 100 to 120 a day.

You will probably start to get more and more spam as time goes by. As the amount of spam increases you will have to keep managing it. If you are using Microsoft Outlook for your email you are doomed. Outlook has the worst email management tools of any product on the market today.

If spam gets to be a real problem see if the Tiny Tech It guys will allow you to install the Thunderbird email client. It is free.

You can train Thunderbird to "read" the emails and detect the spam. It will send the spam directly to the trash and you never have to deal with it. It is a really slick solution to the problem. 98 out of 100 pieces of spam go straight to the trash in my environment.

Thunderbird uses Bayesian algebra to build a set of spam detecting rules by watching which emails you mark as spam. The process of training takes a couple of min. a day for 2 or 3 days.

You probably should remove the link from the post. There is no telling where it takes you when you click on it.

Monty Python sang it well, Spam Spam, Spam, Spam, SPAMITY SPAM!

Done, Faded. The URL's been removed and replced with a big penis URL.

Tiny Tech DOES use Outlook Express for their campus e-mail; I have no permanent office at TTC, so I always use my home computer or the one wherever I am.
